The best choice for boys between the ages of 12 and 18

At Chaminade College Preparatory School — an independent, Catholic and Resident school in Saint Louis, Missouri — young men between the grades of six and 12 are developing the inherent spiritual, intellectual, emotional, and physical potential needed to succeed. The process includes relishing challenging curricula in interactive, hands-on classrooms. While scholarships are not currently offered, students here can participate in a wide range of athletic, cultural, social and religious activities. At the same time, they can undergo various experiential opportunities that spark a lifelong sense of local, national and global responsibility.

The PACE Programme

Since 1992, Chaminade has been allowing its students to enrol in courses that counted for both high school and college credit through Saint Louis University and the University of Missouri-St. Louis. In 2016, the Pathway to Access College Early (PACE) Programme was brought to life to continue equipping students with the exposure and competencies needed to take their next academic step with confidence.

Today, over 100 Advanced College Credits are offered through the PACE Programme, allowing ambitious learners to earn 60+ college credits to transfer to their chosen university upon graduation.

Also, beginning in middle school, pre-Advanced Placement (AP) skills such as critical thinking and reasoning are developed so that students can access the 28 AP classes offered in high school.

Where superstar athletes are made

Home to 70 athletic teams across 19 varsity schools, Chaminade is the perfect place for budding athletes. Throughout the year, young men strive for greatness by participating in Football, Soccer, Cross Country, Tennis, Swimming, Diving, Basketball, Hockey, Wrestling, Racquetball, Baseball, eSports, Lacrosse, Volleyball, Golf, Tennis, Track and Field, Water Polo, Rugby, and Ultimate Frisbee — depending on the season.

Chaminade changemakers

At Chaminade, participating in service and volunteering opportunities are requirements to graduate. In fact, students attending the School for all seven years must perform a minimum of 210 service hours. Through the Marianist Service Programme, they develop greater awareness and appreciation of others while nurturing compassion for the poor and disenfranchised.

The ultimate home away from home

When it comes to boarding, Chaminade is experienced in every sense of the word. For over a century, it has hosted students from across the globe, providing them a safe space to grow, live and learn in harmony. Earlier this year, the school broke ground on its new building, which will be named Marianist Hall. The new space aims to propel its current resident programme into the modern era.

Two students will be assigned to each room, and a shared bathroom equipped with full amenities will be designated for up to four students. Bedrooms will incorporate a sustainable design, complete with a high-efficiency HVAC system, motion-sensor LED lighting, and provisions for modern technology. Gathering spaces will be available throughout the building for students to convene, unwind, and embrace the sense of camaraderie integral to the Chaminade experience.

A member of Chaminade's admissions team will be travelling to Nigeria, Kenya and Rwanda. Fill in the form to find out more!
